Lapland without Santa?

Hi there,

I'm keen to take my partner and 12yr old DD on a trip to Lapland between Christmas and New Year with the hope of experiencing the Northern Lights, dog sledding and possibly a night or two in a glass igloo or similar? As Christmas will have passed, I'd like to stay somewhere that's just wintery and lovely. Happy to consider other places in Scandinavia if there's anywhere else that would fit the bill? Many thanks in advance. x

I think you might be a little late to book that for this year.

I've traveled in northern Finland a few times and it's incredibly beautiful. It can be tricky to find a suitable glass igloo place as a family as most allow 2 people per dome.

Inari was my favorite place I visited, extremely beautiful with amazing walks across the frozen lake. We went husky sledding for a day which was exceptional.
