What sized suitcase?

I need new suitcases as ours are in a poor state. I am looking at Antler and It but not sure what size of suitcase to go for. Would a medium be big enough for a two week holiday with 20 to 23 kg weight limit? I got some from Tripp a couple of years ago and haven't used them because they are too small.

Is it worth paying more for Antler, and should I go soft or hard shell?

How do you know they are too small if you haven't used them ?? It's well known that the majority of people take far too much 'stuff' on holidays. Maybe have a pretend pack with the ones you've already got as a bit of a guide.

You need to check the sizes and volume capacity, some brands medium is another’s large!
my large case is 76cm x 46cm x 26cm, it’s generous for a weeks holiday with lots clothing options and spare shoes (just done a winter trip with it including a big coat, ankle boots and pair of trainers) but it’s still within 20-23kg weight limit when full.
i prefer softshell cases myself, had hard shell ones in the past and they tend to get battered by airlines and I find the zips can be tricky. Also often lighter.
I’d get 4 wheels rather than 2, they’re so much easier to wheel.

My vote for soft shell - lighter so I can put in more.

Is that fabric?

Yes, fabric

Fabric as hard shells are more likely to crack. Look in TK maxx or Primark.

I’ve got antler cases. They are great with more considerate airlines ( schedule) but fly Ryan air and they are ruined. Don’t waste your money if you fly cheap basically.

I got some
really good soft shell and fabric ones in tk max last week. Always go there for suitcases. Got my daughter a lovely fabric juicy couture one for £60 for our holiday next week

As ex cabin crew I prefer the fabric cases as they expand better. The plastic cases they make these days don’t last like they used to, they’re too flimsy.

i think the size depends on what type of person you are and the type of holiday. I always need a large suitcase If you are not like me you might be ok with the medium.
