We are going on our first holiday to tenerife for a week with our 14 month old in january, any tips?
Any advice on what to take for plane?
Also should i buy a swimming pool inflatable before i go or when im there?
How many swimsuits should i take?
Around how many nappies etc should i take?
Also he is now on whole cows milk, what would i give him over there? Just the same?

For the nappies, I’d be tempted to take a couple of days wirh and buy some when I’m there.

Are you taking swim nappies?

For the plane take something to suck at take off to help with their ears- a dummy or cup with bottle top or something. Take plenty of easy to eat snacks. Make sure you have changes of clothes to include a spare t shirt for yourself. I would take baby carrier/sling to carry them off the plane as often the pushchair won't be delivered back to the plane and have to collect at baggage reclaim. I found mine sleep well on the plane so depending on flight times try to time it with naps.

I also order some baby food pouches, baby snacks and calpol to collect in boots in departures. You can do a boots click and collect from the airport departures. So then you have it for the plane but then some backup food options whilst there.

What inflatable were you thinking of? I'd just take whatever it is you use to go swimming at home. As some children/babies don't like/get on with certain ones. Is the pool heated? You might want to look at a wet suit style swim suit in Jan. We went to Lanzorote in Jan and Turkey in Oct with babies and the water was just too cold for them.

I agree buy nappies out there. With swim nappies I use reusable ones so just take 1 with me and wash it out.
