Budget needs to be around £300ish. Is this unrealistic do you think?

I'm not sure, I've never really been one for deals, I think because we try to fly from London City Airport which is never part of a deal.

Are you talking £300 each? I'm sure that would be do-able, our flights are generally less than £150 return to Amsterdam and that's with a 'proper' airline.

Sorry, I wasn't much help there. Does it have to be Amsterdam? Eurostar do some good combined deals to various cities that are quite sweet, like Bruges or Lille.
