Emirates flight tips

Hi all,

We’re travelling to Dubai in Jan, with our 3 kids who will be are 5, 4 and just under 2 when we fly. We’re flying with Emirates and I know they don’t allow inflatable extenders anymore, so I was just wondering if anyone had any travel tips for the flight?! Because I’m not looking forward to it! Thanks x

My only good tip is that the drinks are included and my favourite is available - Amarula!

Just take plenty of snacks and load up the iPad with films. We’ve flown that far with kids that age and they were no bother at all. The littlest’s bum will fit in the seat next to the 4 year old so you won’t need them in your lap.

Can you buy the 1 year old a seat?

Emirates are great. Relax, say yes to food and screen requests from the kids.

Take spare clothes and a drinks bottle for everyone in hand luggage - no open top cups for the 5 abd 4 yr olds.

Thank you both.

Good idea about packing bottles, I didn’t think of that.

Thats what I’m hoping, that the baby (not really a baby anymore!) won’t have to be on my lap the whole time. I will have to try and fashion some sort of leg rest for them.

thanks!

Emirates are great with kids.

try to do priority boarding and get the leg room seats where the bassinet goes. (Even though he won’t fit in it). It’s good to have the space.
