Changing/nappy bag on Easyjet / Ryanair

Hello :)

Has anyone flown with either Easyjet or Ryanair recently with an infant (under 2) on their lap (paid the set fee of around £25) ? This option doesn't include an underseat bag option, but I have read that they are allowed a changing / nappy bag?

I will be travelling alone and will have an appropiate backpack for myself, just wondering what the (real life) allowance for the baby bag is? Jus twondering if I will need to add on a trolleybag or not.

Thanks

From the Ryanair website -All infants must sit on an adult’s lap and do not qualify for a separate bag allowance. However, we allow a baby bag up to 5kg (dimensions: 45x35x20cms) for babies travelling on an adult's lap.

From the Easyjet website-If you’re travelling with an infant who will be seated on your lap, an additional baby changing bag is allowed for the infant (max. 45 x 36 x 20 cm) and this needs to fit under the seat in front of you.

You would need to fit the baby bag and your backpack under the seat in front of you. As you are traveling alone would it not be easier to add on a trolly bag giving you more room for clothes for you both and have the baby bag under the seat?
