£1k budget Few days away January

Any ideas? I have had a rubbish year. Taking a big run of leave at Christmas. Want to do something relaxing but not boring in January. Solo.

I like city breaks, tours, swimming, theatre, restaurants, trips

Doha / UAE for a four or five day mini break?

Might stretch the budget?

Malaga. Great city and lots of lovely places to visit for day trips.

Mon-Fri Dublin to Tenerife Ryanair £150 (travel light)

GF Fanabe (more lively) or Kora Tigot (quiet, nice walks to fishing villages) £450

Leaves £400 for spending money. The bus network is easy and convenient and you’ll get some sunshine

Iceland

Budapest - sit in hot spas and relax! Mooch about, eat chimney cake and goulash and stay in a lovely hotel for reasonable price.
