Tenerife at Christmas with teenagers

Hey everyone

I need some advice.
For many reasons we don't want to do our usual Xmas this year and we want to go away.
We considered Mexico but can't quite stretch to that so we think maybe tenerife.
So has anyone been at Xmas and how was it temperature wise?
We'll be going with our teenagers 13&17 and would need activities to do if it's not warm enough for the beach or pool.
Any suggestions as to what to do when there would be great.

We usually go in December, although not at Christmas. Last year it was warm enough to sunbathe but not warm enough for me to get in the pool, I’d look for one that’s heated. You’ve got Siam Park and monkey world if you go to Costa Adeje or Playa De Las Americas. Siam mall is decent enough as well, plenty of shops and places to eat.
