Ok given up on the idea of a 2/3 carseat so think we have to take our own for our 2.8yr old. Can anyone tell me if easyjet will take this plus a pram without counting it as luggage allowance?

thanks

I think you can - and your child can sit in it on the flight though I've never actually seen anyone do this. See the stuff about car seats hear.

Otherwise you could just check the car seat in online for a fiver.

Hi - i mailed easyjet the other day ref this - their reply was that the carseat and pushchair are not counted as baggage allowance and therefore they will go free of charge. Hope this helps.

yes we flew with them at Easter and this is correct, we took a rather large car seat and a pushchair and were not charged for either. The pushchair was taken off us at the steps and the car seat was checked in at a special desk in Stansted. Hope this helps

ps do you wrap it up in advance - if you put it in a large holdall for example would it then be classed as baggage allowance? Would prefer to bubble wrap it etc as extra protection.
