Does this hotel exist?

I’m trying to find a hotel to keep everyone happy and going round in circles trying to find something. I think I have too many criteria and something will have to give but I thought I would ask on here in case anyone has a suggestion I haven’t thought of.

It will be 2 adults and 2 kids (15 and 9). Budget is fairly healthy – could probably stretch to around 7k or so for something really perfect for 7 nights. Travelling in October so likely southern Greece / Turkey / Cyprus. Not Tenerife as we have been a few times and would like to try somewhere different.

Must have enough entertainment for a teenager, ideally onsite waterpark, plus good evening entertainment. A room with 2 separate sleeping areas is also a must.

Pools need to be heated and no sunbed wars.

Would love really good food options. If AI then a variety of different a la carte restaurants included, or if not AI then lots of good restaurants within easy walking distance.

Anda Barut in Turkey is probably the closest I have found so far but I’m put off by the long transfer time and reviews saying the a la carte’s are very difficult to book. Also doesn’t seem like there is much to do outside the hotel.

We only go abroad once a year which I think is why I am looking for something that suits everyone rolled into one, am I trying to find something that doesn’t exist?

Thanks for any suggestions anyone can give, or anything that comes close to fitting most of these things.

Blue lagoon village, Kos
Aegean Blue, Rhodes

I dont think the pools are heated but in July / Aug they are not at all cold

Look at the 2 bedroom family rooms

Just seen you want to go in October... they might be fresh

This October half term we did holiday village Ibiza. The pools were not heated and were "fresh" but fine once in. The 1 bed apartments have seperate sleeping areas. We only booked 3 days before when we could see the weather forecast and see it was warmer in Ibiza than in Greece / Turkey, hence we went there instead as a last minute booking

Tonnes for older children to do. Both my teans loved it.

All of the above have way more sunbeds than guests so never any sunbed issues

Thanks, we’ve actually been to the holiday village Ibiza before but I would definitely be too nervous to book there for October weather wise unless last minute.

I’ll check out your other suggestions though.

I booked 3 days before.... my kids flights were only £15, ours were £28!

Bargain. We had 5 days (i booked direct with hotel) for under £1000 a couple of weeks ago!!!!

We’ve stayed at Hilton Sarigerme and TUI Blue tropical. Both very short transfer times and inter connecting rooms.

Piratejenny99 · 10/11/2025 22:07

Sounds like an amazing bargain!

Thanks, I’ll have a look at both of these too

We have booked for the Liberty Signa as we had a lot of the same requirements. I researched the hell out of it.

So I normally hate AI copy and pasted on MN, but it is perfect tool for questions like this. So here’s the ChatGPT answer:

1)
Creta Maris Resort — Hersonissos, Crete (Greece)

Why it fits

  • Large onsite waterpark + many pools and a proper teens club / evening entertainment programme. Creta Maris has a village-style resort layout with entertainment aimed at families.
  • Family Connecting Rooms / Premium Two-Bedroom Suites (2 separate bedrooms, 2 bathrooms) — exactly what you want for separate sleeping areas.
  • Heated pools in-season through 31 Oct (explicitly listed as heated through October) — plus an indoor heated pool. That means comfortable swimming in October without “cold-pool” drama.
  • Lots of restaurants (multiple a-la-carte and buffet options) on property — great choice for food lovers.

Transfer time

  • ~20–40 minutes from Heraklion (HER) by taxi/private transfer (short and easy).

Good if you want: a big all-in family resort with guaranteed heated pools in October, lots of daytime variety and proper family suites.

2)
Titanic Deluxe Golf Belek — Belek / Antalya (Turkey)

Why it fits

  • Huge onsite aquapark (slides, towers), multiple pools, extensive kids/teen facilities (arcade, teen hangout, cinema, bowling). Perfect for keeping a 15-year-old busy.
  • Family Suites with two bedrooms (separate sleeping areas) are offered.
  • Lots of restaurants/bars on site (several themed a-la-carte options) and nightly entertainment.
  • Indoor heated pool(s) and some heated pool options (indoor pools are explicitly heated; the aquapark is open seasonally to end of Oct). If heated outdoor pools are crucial to you in October, note that many of the outdoor pools may not be heated until later in the season — but there are heated indoor pools and at least one heated salt-water pool listed.

Transfer time

  • ~30–40 minutes from Antalya (AYT) depending on drop-offs/traffic — generally similar to or shorter than Anda Barut’s long transfers.

Good if you want: non-stop action for teens (huge waterpark + entertainment) and lots of on-site dining. Consider booking a family suite early for the two-room requirement.

3)
The Land of Legends / Rixos (The Land of Legends Kingdom or Rixos Premium Belek) — Antalya / Belek (Turkey)

Why it fits

  • Built around a full theme park + Aqua Land with slides, lazy rivers and roller-coasters — huge teen appeal and consistent evening shows/performances.
  • Rixos properties generally offer family suites and lots of entertainment facilities; there are heated pools and spa facilities (indoor / some heated pools available).
  • If you want the theme-park experience (rides + on-site shows) this is the “wow” option.

Transfer time

  • ~30–35 minutes from Antalya (AYT).

Good if you want: the biggest “theme-park + resort” experience — great for a teen who wants thrills. Note: theme-park resort pricing is often higher but within reach of your “stretch to £7k” budget depending on flights and room grade.

4)
Olympic Lagoon Resort — Ayia Napa / Nissi Bay (Cyprus)

Why it fits

  • Big family resort near Ayia Napa with lazy river, water slides, multiple pools and a dedicated Family Junior Suite / two-room suites (separate sleeping areas). Food offering includes several themed restaurants on site.
  • Indoor heated pool plus seasonally heated outdoor pools; good evening entertainment and family-focused activities.

Transfer time

  • ~40–45 minutes from Larnaca (LCA) by road (private transfer/taxi is common).

We have been to the Olympic Lagoon in Ayia Napa, very good, kids loved it although i am not sure if the pool is heated.

This year we went to Tui magic life Masmavi near Belek and stayed in a lagoon room, you can pay extra to secure one on the ground floor with two separate bedrooms and two separate bathrooms. Lovely water park and we did lagoon plus to secure our sunbeds for the duration, you also get a private breakfast every day you do this which was very much worth the price. We really enjoyed the entertainment and it went on till around midnight and you could get a drink and something to eat anytime 24/7

Have a look at Club Letoonia in Fethiye. We went in April and some facilities were unavailable so you might find that in October too. But it was amazing.
