Tips for Sri Lanka

We’re going in January, to the south of the island. Any tips of what to see and visit. We’re staying AI in a hotel, but would like to get out and about too.

I can recommend Kevin from KVN travels for day trips.

We were near Hambantota and did a tour to Ella via a tea plantation and other cool things.

The coastal train ride between Galle and Colombo.

Then of course there are amazing wildlife and safari parks around Hambantota.

Watching with interest - we’re going at Easter!

Sri Lanka is amazing. You are in for a treat. We had a driver and one part of our trip was Nureya Eliya which was fantastic. Our hotel was exactly like the one in The Shining.
