Hi everyone,

I’m travelling for the first time with my kids and really want to make it a memorable experience, so I’d appreciate any advice you can share.

  • Is there a dress code for women? Do we need to cover our shoulders when leaving the hotel or in the evenings at restaurants/buffet areas?
  • Are there any good vegetarian or vegan food options in and around the resort?
  • Any tips on taxis, getting to the city centre, or must-see places would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much in advance!

I think Agadir is a city rather than a resort?

I visited Agadir last year and had such an amazing time. The hotel was gorgeous. The town centre is accessible by local bus or your hotel may do a shuttle. It depends very much on your location. Downtown Agadir has a huge bazaar, Medina and souks. The sellers can be a little forward so don't touch goods unless you're going to buy. I wore modest dress and there were no issues. You have to take the cable car to the Oufella. The panoramic views are stunning. Also visited a womens refuge where they make Argan Oil factory and you were able to try samples.

Don’t need to cover shoulders but December can be chilly in the evenings. Check booking.com for excursions- so much to do at a reasonable price. Get your hotel to book a taxi if you need and the reception can arrange a price up front, usually cheaper unless you’re exceptional at negotiating!
