Dd desperately wants to go to disneyland (paris). I want to go at some point in the next 12 months in the school holidays, but the website can't cope with it and keeps crashing, changing my dates, telling me I can't go etc. I am going insane. Can you do it through a travel agents or will that cost even more? It's only me and dd.

The website is erratic , for many fo the accommodations. One time the one we want is available next time not. You can go through travel agents, several tour operators go there like Cresta and Thomson, but it will cost more.

Am trying to keep costs down if I can . Can you book your travel separately? It's that that's doing it and is driving me nuts, but don't want to book the hol and then not be able to get there (we've never left the UK before)

yes you can do each separately.

I know I sound like such a thicko, but I've never had to book a hol before, and my parents were always so organised when I was little they never discussed it with us small ones!

the eurostar is a good alternative to flying - you can book direct trains on the website.

Ooh thanks. It's the first time I've had to factor school holidays in too and it's getting me so -damn you evil places knowing about when my child is on holiday so doubling your prices and putting a cheap week either side of them!!!!

must admit, we went into travel agents, gave them our dates, chose a hotel and then sat back and relaxed...definitely worth extra cost!
