Stuck in Jamaica

Anyone got any advice, I have a friend stuck in Jamaica with her 13 year old following hurricane. Love Holidays have been awful with no communication. Hotel have intermittent WiFi and no telephones, hotel are chucking them out tomorrow.
She has contacted all advised people but has heard nothing at all.
Love Holdays have not made any contact at all despite calls from uk family members.
Anyone have any advice please.

What are her insurance provider doing? Love holidays aren't a package company just essentially an agent/broker

She needs to go through her insurance provider, or even the airline she was supposed to fly with.

Love Holidays aren't a holiday company they're just a well marketed holiday searched engine so they have no duty to help.

What part of Jamaica is she in? I have a lot of family there I might be able to get some advice if anyone is local to her

They need to register their presence with the foreign office- google it and there is a link. The government is sending repatriation flights.

Great minds, @mumonthehill I was just going to suggest the Foreign Office as well as her insurer.
