Dog friendly Welsh holiday

I don’t know Wales very well. Normally head to Lake District. Looking for a good week long holiday with a dog, lots of off lead walks, beaches or mountains. Good food a bonus. Could self cater but would rather have a hotel….

The Elan Valley is brilliant. Fabulous walking country. The Elan Valley estate own a number of holiday cottages but there are hotels locally too.

Caernarfon or Beaumaris - don’t know about specific dog friendly hotels but both have plenty of hotels/B&Bs

The Trefeddian Hotel. We didn’t have a dog with us, but others did and it’s got some great walks from the doorstep.

Stick to the beaches if your dog is likely to chase sheep please.

Coastal wood cottages in Carmarthenshire near Pendine. Just got back from staying in a fab cottage with our springer. Loads of beaches nearby plus lots of castles nearby to explore that are dog friendly.

These cottages near Cardigan are wonderful. So many lovely dog friendly beaches nearby and easy access to coastal path. Also there is a secure paddock on site for you dog to exercise. https://www.cwmconnell.co.uk/
