I’ve b en told I can take either an additional small bag or the larger size cabin bag to carry my medicine but they won’t confirm this in writing to me, has anyone done this?

Is there anything useful under special assistance on their website?

DP uses a CPAP machine and has booked it that way, it's not just for people in wheelchairs who need lifting onto the plane.

You need to arrange it ahead of time using the special assistance route - they will ask for details of what you’re taking and dimension of bag but I’ve done it a few times with them

As with others, I book special assistance and during that you can state your needs. We fly ryan air quite a bit and it’s always worked well.

Thanks, I've logged the request via special assistance but as the note they have made isn't visible to me I was worried! Good to hear its worked out for others!

Presumably other airlines do similar if even Ryanair does? (DHs meds etc take up most of a hand baggage sized bag,)
