Early January for 3 or 4 days, nice weather, nice walks

Any suggestions for the above?

How far do you wan to travel?
Nice?

Somewhere in southern Spain or the Canaries. Lots of walking for all levels from coast, forest, volcanoes and proper mountains.

Especially good if it includes 5 January for the Three Kings parade but be aware that 6 January is like Christmas Day in Spain so shops are closed and restaurants will either need to be booked or closed too.

So need to plan, be in a hotel or make do with whatever the garage sells in my disappointed experience.

Maderia has some amazing walks. We’ve been in January and had mostly sunny weather, afternoon temperatures in the late teens but the occasional short sharp rain shower.

We're going to Madeira over new year after it was recommended to me on here! I've heard it's great for walking.

Thank you for the suggestions. I've been walking in Madeira before. I've also been to Nice but haven't done a lot of those walks so that's an option.
