Is it worth going to Iceland for only 4 days if I want to see the landscape...

Exactly that. We are thinking of going over Easter. It will still be cold, so our initial campervan idea went by the wayside.

I'm more keen on seeing some of the dramatic landscape than Reykjavik - but is it too little time to see anything properly?

Thoughts welcome, please

@depletedlaready Well there’s a load of snow right now! I’d check weather for April but in Iceland there can be surprises! We hired a car and travelled around but limited ourselves to South and West coast. Plus golden ring area. In a week, you can see enough and driving is really easy. We did this in September one year and it snowed then too! Going in and out of Reykjavik wastes time but for four days is possibly the best solution. 1 week or longer, move around.

Knowledge can easily be gained from a book! Guides on a recent trip spent too much time on Icelandic Sagas. I love my own time on holiday and aren’t keen on being herded. However if driving worries you, it’s easily avoided.
