Any recommendations?

we have 1.5 year old and a 3 year old so looking for somewhere not too far from an airport. Would be great to be near a city for day trips etc, but nicer accommodation would be a plus!

Worth looking at Sandaya and Yelloh for their own "luxury" mobiles in France. On the Italian Riviera - sites like Union Lido, Ca Savio and Portofelice do their own accommodation, appts, cottages etc if you want to move up from a mobile home. Riviera Villages near Grimaud / St Tropez https://en.riviera-villages.com/
have 3 sites with a bit of a tikki hut feel, some with own mini pools. We had a lovely week at Kontiki, right on the beach - would need a car. In NL, Water Village in Zeeland is right next to the main Roompot.com resort with beach, pool etc. Lovely houses but maybe too close to the water for little kids. They also have places with beach houses. The CPs in France look very nice - have only done NL ones.

Valamar Camping Istra has really nice accommodation. It’s close to a large town and about 45 mins from Pula airport.

Allgäu Centre Parcs is amazing, we hired a car but they may do airport transfers.

Yelloh Villages are good, great activities for kids.

Feather down farm, glamping on farms. Not got swimming pools etc but lovely settings with animals. Done a few at home and abroad.
