Could you tell me about your Saudi holiday, was it easy to get a visa and what did you do there? I am thinking of booking for a few weeks time. Thank you.

As a child we didn't go abroad on holiday (1960s no-one did).

First: Blackpool, a guesthouse, i was about 4. I rode a donkey. 80s.

Last: a longish weekend in Wales for a wedding, actual holiday was in Portsmouth for 7 days. Caravan. June 25.

Next: i have a lovely 4 days booked in Rome in Nov, ostensibly for my brother's birthday but actually a real jaunt for me minus DD and DH!

Last - the one I'm currently on! A Greek island.

Next - don't know yet, we're discussing it. Considering Tuscany or maybe long haul to Vietnam/Cambodia.
