As it says, best small cabin bag recommendation for squeezing things in!

There was a grey/black one at Home Bargains this summer, not sure if they still have them though.

The specifically sizes ones on Amazon are all much of a muchness. Just depends what style you're after.
The Cabin Max range possibly a bit sturdier.

MiddleAgedDread · 23/10/2025 10:33

i have one off Amazon that was about £15 and owes me nothing after a year!!

For under the seat or the overhead locker?

With the overhead you need to watch the weight more than the volume

SisterMaryLuke · 23/10/2025 12:28

The Cabin Max (underseat) one is great - very sturdy and capacious.

I have a decathlon one. https://www.decathlon.co.uk/p/20-l-sports-bag-with-shoulder-strap/_/R-p-324098?mc=8580082&c=colorless_blue_red plenty of space. Nice large opening and separate pocket is fantastic.
Depending on how long you’re travelling for I also use the Patagonia 6l black hole cube this for 1-2 nights. Their 14l is in Ryanair dimensions too and the clam shell opening is really useful. https://eu.patagonia.com/gb/en/product/black-hole-packing-cube-14-liters/49372.html

I'm also flying Ryan Air soon so this is really useful! Anyone know if i can take a small handbag as well as my cabin bag with overnight stuff in it?

I don't think so but would love to be corrected! I've ordered a cabin max bag based on the above comments and will just squeeze my handbag in there too.

I think it depends on ticket.. my DD was allowed a 10kg overhead bag and a small "personal" underseat bag. If your ticket is just the underseat bag then no.

basic fare is a small underseat bag only (approx 30litre rucksack sort of size). your handbag needs to go in it.
next fare up is you pay for an overhead cabin bag as well so you can take something like a wheelie carry on case and your handbag as your small underseat bag.

@pavlovaGhouls what have you booked? Basic fare or Priority with 2 cabin bags?

Basic fare only. Looks like it's just the one cabin bag for me. Thanks everyone!

I flew this morning and 50% of people had a Le Pliage for hand luggage. I had a zipped tote from Herschel.
