Tenerife or lanzarote weather in november

Melcl1987 · 21/10/2025 22:10

I am looking at booking a weeks holiday with my 3 yo in the second half of November. Ideally looking for a beach and pool holiday but appreciate that will be difficult eithout going long haul. Looking at lanzarote and tenerife and wanted to check if others have been around the same time of year and if so what the weather was like?

Also, if anyone has any further suggestions of places to visit that would be helpful. Keen to avoid long haul but would be willing to do 6 hour flights

Gran Canaria, Puerto Rico. The warmest and most southerly if the canaries. Lanzarote can be windy.

Paphos is around 22 in November

The weather will be nice (low to mid twenties), but check if the swimming pool is heated - if they're not they're a bit parky, especially for a little one who wants to be in there all day.

I’m just back from Lanzarote. Weather was mid 20s to 30. Our pool wasn’t heated but was lovely to cool down. Cold coming out mind you! But there were babies in the water so couldn’t have been too bad! Lanzarote has a lovely breeze so even high temps didn’t feel too bad. A few days were a bit overcast but still lovely and warm. Love it there! So, can’t speak to next month but this month was lovely, if that any use.

I’ve been the last two Novembers. 24/25 degrees which is perfect for me. Pools were a bit cold as PPs have said so worth looking for hotels with heated pools if that’s a big part of your holiday.

We've been November with my sister and her toddler and decided to stay only to Lanzarote, because we wanted to explore as much as we could in less than a week. There is this on the ferry hopper blog that I found https://www.ferryhopper.com/en/blog/featured/tenerife-or-lanzarote-which-to-choose that helped us decide on Lanzarote. The weather was very pleasant, we didn't have any issue at all.

Will likely be mid 20’s, take a light jacket for the evenings. The most important thing is to research if they heat at least one pool properly, many aren’t these days, and the so called heated pool is barely 25/26, too cold for me, even hot tubs were lukewarm warm at best last time I went in late 2023.
