family pub/restaurant in southampton??

I've got to take my dd to the mayflower theatre after school to see the panto with her grandparents and we need to kill about 2.5 hrs in southampton before picking herup.
Any good places to eat with a two year old?

what tie m of day?
in walking distance?

about 4;30-7pm we will be driving

any ideas anyone I've got to leave in an hour!

Try going to WestQuay and se if teh eating places are still open - pizzaHut, Harry Ramsden's, McDonalds etc. 2 restaurants opposite Mayflower but one probably not very child friendly. KFC withing walking distance of theatre plus Bella Pasta a couple of pubs that might let her in before 7pm

or if you're really desparate...pop in here and have beans on toast!!!!!
