Dubai holiday hotels

I'm looking to go Dubai in April Easter holidays, single parent with my DD (10). Want to stay pretty central but also not too far from theme parks, what areas are best/hotel recommendations?

Dubai doesn’t have a centre as such.

Atlantis on The Palm has its own waterpark and about 20 restaurants. Its the sort of place you don’t need to leave.

The main alternative is Jumeriah beach which has lots of hotels and restaurants. JB is more central that the Palm but its not the centre of Dubai (if that makes sense).

There are also hotels around the Dubai Mall area but then you are away from the beach.

I would say somewhere like the Mina Seyahi would be great. Pretty central to everything. Has its own onsite water park and you can use the restaurants at the Westin next door. It’s an easy (and safe)walk down to the Jumeirah Walk area with lots of restaurants and entertainment. You can go to The Atlantis water park or Wild Wadi if you want bigger ones. Taxis are very reasonable, depending on what your dd is into there is so much to do (my dd is just back from a holiday with her dad, she loved the snow zone at the mall of the Emirates and the Dubai eye

There aren’t theme parks in Dubai, just two water parks and I suggest avoiding wild wdi like the plague. Do you mean yas island in Abu Dhabi? That’s about an hour away.
