We are a group of women (age 30-40) going for 5 days to drink wine and relax by the pool/ beach. We are also thinking of renting a car and do some sightseeing. We’re staying in Costa Adeje and have already booked a ticket to trek up Mt Teide and we do like everything from cliff jumping to hiking, to history and good food. Anything you wise people can recommend?

The water park (biggest in europe) is the obvious thing. We also did a stargazing tour up the volcano which was really good.

Mt Teide is hit or miss, if there is a bit of a breeze the cable car won't operate, worth having a backup option.

OP, the trek up Teide, you mean the trek from the lower cable car station to the top?

Theres also a circular walk from the Mirador de La Ruleta taking about 90minutes. The car parks there are busy by 10am so be warned.

Theres the ‘end of the world’ feel at Mirador punta del teno, you can either cycle, walk or get the bus from Buenavista del Norte.

We will trek from Montaña Blanca and take the cable car down - if it’s going..
Has anyone done that trek? We’re all quite fit and used to trekking so hoping it won’t be a problem!

There's loads of great hiking, check out All Trails

Id book the star gazing tour at Teide, it’s very good and worth going with a guide. The water park is good if you like that kind of thing.

If you like hiking Barranco del inferno is good.

Also travel up to the Spanish villages if Adeje, Masca and Tosca etc if you have a car. Great Canarian tapas bars and great views.

we really enjoyed mount teide so that is a must. Other things we went on a boat trip with swim stop and we’re lucky to see dolphins which was good.
How about a wine and food tasting type tour ?
