Forest Holidays or Center Parcs for teens?

Looking at a short break and can’t decide between these 2, I like the idea of a hot tub for forest holidays, but I’m worried there doesn’t seem to be as much going on? Anyone done both and can compare?

Whitemead in Forest of Dean gets my vote. Join Boundless and get a discount as well. There’s also a Forest Holidays nearby in Forest of Dean. Loads to do round there.

I've no answer to your question but I couldn't pass this thread by without congratulating you for your correct spelling of Center Parcs! The incorrect spelling, which is in 90%+ of posts on the internet, is a thing which drives me to irrational rage.

Have the best time which ever option you choose!

We stayed at a Forest Holidays recently without our young adult DC and it was very quiet compared to CP. Which we liked, but it depends what yours like. I think there were activities in the nearby forest but nothing really on site apart from for little kids and you couldn't get anywhere without a car or bike so less scope for independence. We did lazy mornings in the hot tub, short days out, eat and then back to the hot tub.

I'd say CP as teens can go off and do their own thing in relative safety. Forest Holidays pretty much is just a (very nice) cabin in the woods with a small shop and restaurant. Some have very limited activities on site but nothing like CP at all in terms of things to do, places to eat etc.

Thanks all, I’m thinking FH would be nice for DH and I but CP would be best for the family. Any recommendations for the best one welcomed!
