Greek hotel within walking distance to good selection of restaurants.

DH and I had a fantastic holiday in Rhodes this year. We found the people so friendly and proud of their Island. The hotel was great but there were only 2 restaurants within walking distance. We’d love to go back to Greece next year (not necessarily Rhodes) and I’m trying to find somewhere with a close proximity to a good selection of restaurants and tavernas. Not anywhere like Kavos or Faliraki though - we’re a bit too old now! Can anyone a hotel?

We stayed in ixia on Rhodes and took buses in Rhodes town, was a while back though

We stayed at Enetiko Resort which is more a serviced apartment than a hotel but there is a pool, small gym and breakfast and a snack bar. It was a short walk to the lovely port with loads of restaurants

I watch Becky Bartlam on YouTube and she goes to zante and walks to lots of different restaurants. Maybe have a look and see what the resort is called.

Lindos in Rhodes or Barbati on Corfu

I got married in Pefkos Rhodes in 2019. Loads of hotels for various budgets and all walking distance from lots of really nice restaurants. We stayed at Island Blue but they are part of a hotel group including Pefki Islands and Lindia Thalassa that are all located next door.

Koutouloufari in Crete is great . Loads of restaurants in the village and the two approx 10 & 20 mins walk away. The village is approx twenty mins inland and uphill from hersonnissos beach area with loads or bars and restaurants and also about 5-10 mins in a taxi to stalis which has a fantastic beach

Following... argassi had loads of resteraunts, but the town had no beach (was a dump)

Thanks again, some great suggestions. We went to Kalathos in Rhodes this year and were 10 minutes in a taxi to Lindos which we loved. Would just really like to be able to walk somewhere similar to Lindos.
