Anyone been to the south of France in February? My DH has booked a few days in Nice without doing enough research as per. I agreed to this as it's for his birthday, but am now not so sure re weather.

It can be all sorts tbh. I used to have to go a conference in Cannes every Feb. It was either really pleasant spring sun, a couple of random hot days, or pissing with rain, windy and cold. Not really helpful, sorry! What are you hoping to do when there?

It’s usually pretty pleasant weather wise- sunny and warm enough to eat lunch outdoors so long as you’re wearing a coat and sat in the sun.

Thanks for your replies. I don't really know what we're gonna do there yet. I'm a bit of a last minute person. Anyway you've put my mind at rest that it shouldn't be too cold there.

We’ve been in early-mid March and if its sunny then yes, wrapped up warm sitting outside is nice. However when you’re in the shaded old town streets, it is bitter! Probably not full-length parka weather but warm downy coat and cashmere jumpers, yes.
