Decent hotel with a pool in North of England

We are looking for a nice hotel in North of England (Lakes/Chester/York or similar) with a pool that our teens can use any time of day. Only for a couple of nights. Struggling to find one that doesn’t restrict them to mornings only. Anyone have any recommendations or suggestions?

Is there a Village Hotel in any of the locations you want? We have stayed at the Village Hotel in Blackpool a few times now and kids swim times are
Mon to Thurs: 9am-12pm / 2pm-5pm
Fri to Sun: 9am-12pm / 2pm-6pm

The Mercure in Chester has a pleasant pool. We stayed for a couple of nights in August and that was our prerequisite. Hotel not anything fancy but it did the job.

Newby Bridge Hotel or Damsen Dene in the Lakes. Decent pool and gym at both. Good breakie too!

Low Wood in Windermere. You'd need to check the pool hours for children as I went with late teens.

Carden Park hotel near Chester is lovely.

Novotel in York!
may not quite be the level of luxury you are after, but they are central, have a pool and a good buffet breakfast. We only live an hour away , but my teens love it as a treat.

Rudding Park?

Yes please! Such a lovely place.

I really like the look of Another Place in Ullswater, but their website says they have dedicated pool times for adults and children.

If budget allows, Rudding Park in Harrogate.

The Salutation in Ambleside is absolutely lovely.

North lakes

Has pool access restrictions for under 16s. They can only use the pool before 11am and I think after 3pm.

Depending on the age of the teens it might be OK.

OP we go loads of places with kids and pool access restrictions. We jusy find out what they are and work within them.
