November holiday help!

Hi, I’m after some recommendations for a holiday. 9 nights in November, warm weather, nice hotel in walking distance of other bars/restaurants etc. DH likes watersports and all that kind of stuff.
Ideally not a long transfer from airport to hotel.

Any ideas would be very much appreciated….because frankly, I’m fed up of looking!

Thanks!

Budget?

Doggybroc · 07/10/2025 15:08

2 adults? Preferred board basis?

TheMasterplan23 · 07/10/2025 15:12

@Doggybroc

sorry, that would have been helpful!

Yes, 2 adults and not overly concerned about cost. Not too extravagant though! :)

Isn't there still a risk of hurricanes in the Caribbean in November?

BIWI · 07/10/2025 15:56

Barbados is the most Eastern of the Caribbean islands, so is much less likely to be affected.

Correct. I've been in November. Bit of rain but not terrible.

Rio de Janeiro a city beach holiday. Lots to do, famous beaches.

Cape Town, with a choice of hotels to suit different budgets around the V&A Waterfront. Also only a couple of hours time difference so jetlag less of an issue on a shorter break.

TheMasterplan23 · 07/10/2025 16:56

Thanks everyone! I’ll have a look

I'd go to a high end hotel in Playa Blanca Lanzarote. Easy flight, no jetlag, good weather and a nice break in a nice area. I wouldn't go long haul personally, but that's just me!

I hear the Princess Yaiza suites is good there. Friends have been, but I've not been myself.
