Morocco with kids

Looking for a mix of places to stay and things to do with quite adventurous kids age 8 and 9. Anyone got any tips? Much appreciated 🙂

Perhaps a hotel on the outskirts of Marrakesh that has good facilities like a pool, then trips into the city and the Medina, plus camel ride into the desert and other activities you fancy?
Other choice may be Agadir and find activities there, like surfing. Agadir doesn’t have a huge amount to see in itself though.
