So would love to find a two week holiday that would incorporate some trekking and then at the end some beach relaxing - tied to Feb- thinking Nepal / Sri Lanka ? Africa ?
we’re a 55 year old couple that are fairly fit but not professional climbers ! Looking for adventure happy to be in a smallish group for the activity
any ideas ? Thanks

Just had a look at explore and at that time of year they seem to offer Madeira, Canaries, Jordan, Sri Lanka, Kerala and Vietnam. Of course they have Kilimanjaro but that's maybe a bit more hardcore than you had in mind.

We had a brilliant adventure/beach holiday in Costa Rica. I'd love to go back and would feel comfortable hiring a car if we did.

I recommend HF holidays. I know several people from my walking group that have done various holidays with them both here and abroad, though I have only done UK ones myself (they were excellent).

We have used Exodus a lot and have never been disappointed.

I was in the Canaries on February, I think it's one of the best destinations for this time of the year. We did La Palma and Tenerife, but La Palma really was amazing for hiking!!! You can find useful information here https://visitlapalma.es/en/paths-la-palma/ and here https://www.ferryhopper.com/en/blog/featured/hiking-trails-la-palma ; )

I went on a brilliant exodus trip. Their website is great. Put in February, walking and see what’s available. How exciting!

Yes, not since we had kids but prior to that, so experience was more than 10 years ago. Always had good trips, also done Exodus trips pre-kids and equally good. Only walking type trips I've done are around Cappadocia (Turkey) with Explore, which was fab, and Drakensberg in South Africa with Exodus. I have been up Kinabalu too. Kinabalu, orangutan sanctuary and beach is a good call by whoever suggested it. Hoping to get a family Exodus trip this year, but when paying for 4 people the cost is a bit of a shock!

@TeamGeriatric ot certainly is expensive when you have to pay for kids too ! We’re now lucky that dc are in their 20s so can warrant a parents only trip …,
