Hi looking for somewhere nice, warm and peaceful to go for a week in Dec with dh and our 3yo. Anyone any nice experiences??

The Canaries

San Sebastian (or thereabouts) in La Gomera is v nice - V quiet so not loads to do - we just pitched up there and found a flat to rent with lovely balcony with sea view - but with 3yo would look to book something. Was warm enough to swim on Christmas Day (just). Had originally booked place in mountains but it was v cold and rainy there (clouds). could do 3 or 4 days there plus maybe 3 days in erm the capital of Tenerife - Santa Cruz is it? We only spent about 2 hours there but I thought it was a lovely town. Good for boatwatching, shopping, chilling etc (probably culture too but I wasn't in the mood).
