It’s my lovely DP’s bday this Saturday. He makes a big fuss of me for any/all occasions so I’ve splurged somewhat. Neither of us have annual leave to spare (big trip later in the year) so I’ve booked a weekend away in a close European city and a fancy hotel; just Friday night to Sunday night (easy to get to London City) so can leave after work. Wondering when I should let him know and creative / fun / romantic ways to do so! No worries about him double booking (have filled his calendar with fake plans) and he’s a quick & light packer so… do I wait until Friday morning?! X
