Greece in Mid October

What’s the weather like in Mid October in the Greek islands? Somewhere like Rhodes.

I’ve been to Rhodes in October. It was warm ish. Not warm enough to go in the unheated pool or even sunbathe. It was breezy at night. So pleasant enough as long as you wanted to go out and about rather than go to the beach or the pool.

Might be glorious, might be damp and chilly.

Rhodes or Crete are the best best but even so both are temperamental and could be 27’ or rainy. You’ll need a heated pool either way unless you want very quick dips.

Cyprus is a better bet if you want it hotter but even there can have rainy days then.

I went to Spetses in October; it was really warm and sunny and we swam in the sea daily.

But that was apparently not commonly the case. So ...unpredictable

We're going to Athens at the same time. I'm expecting warm enough to not be cold out and about, cool in the evening. So sightseeing weather rather than sunbathing.
