Was anyone else caught up in Wednesdays Stansted Airport evacuation?

Had an absolute nightmare at Stansted on Wednesday, despite the airport being evacuated most planes took off on time, even if they were empty.
No refund from Ryan Air!
It was carnage.

What happened?

that happened to me a few years ago. I even had insurance from both ryanair and my bank that both refused to pay out because the flight apparently left on time. my mums building society helped her out, but RBS travel insurance were awful. I lost out on hundreds. I hope you have better luck than me

Always pay with credit card and do a changeback.
