I'm going there. What is there to do?

I have been before for a couple of days. I did the whatsimajig familial, the picasso museum, the Olympic swimming pool and Las Ramblas.

Any suggestions for other things? Any good sporting things to do? Any day trips (on public transport)?

The zoo is great I'm not normally a fan of zoos, but this one is very sympathetically laid out. And last time we were there we saw two monkeys having a massive scrap, which was hilarious.

The park that the zoo is in (Parc de la Ciutadella, I think) is gorgeous, a lovely relaxing place to hang out and have a picnic. Can be a bit infested with bongo-playing hippies but sometimes that's ok in the sunshine

Cable car up to Montjuic? I've not done it but apparently the views are spectacular.
