Gran Canaria in May

Hi,

Has anyone been to Gran Canaria end of May? Can you tell me if the weather is warm enough for sunbathing and swimming etc. I have checked google for average temperatures but would like to know from someone’s experience if it’s nice enough weather or if we will be wasting our money booking at this time of year.

We have been at the end of January and it was still warm.

it gets a bit breezy though and you will need a coat or cardigan at night

Definitely, been to Lanzarote in December and it was warm enough to sunbathe! Similar temperatures to GC.
You might get rain overnight and can be windy so take a hoodie/light jacket for the evenings
