Outfits for winter sun holiday

I need help on outfits for going to Majorca in October. It will be warm during the day & colder at night. I feel the cold. I don't know what to take. Suggestions welcome please.

It won't be super-cold in the evenings. Wear what you would wear for an evening in a pub beer garden in the UK at the end of a nice sunny (non-heatwave) day in June. Maybe take a very light jacket, but you might not even need that if you have a long-sleeved top on.

What would you wear on an early Autumn night in the uk? Denim jacket? Cardigan? Hoody?

Depends if you're likely to want to sit outside much. I've done that type of holiday in places where they had evening stuff on the terraces, so was sitting for an hour or two after the sun had gone down and not moving around.

For that, layers. I'd take one or two pairs of full length, non-floaty trousers (leggings would be fine) a denim jacket and something of hoodie thickness too, gives you options. This is what I'll be taking when I go to Spain next month. But you may not need this if you're more likely to be indoors in restaurants or bars. I was fine in day clothing then, iyswim.

It also depends on how close you are to the sea. If you're beachfront, there'll probably be more breezes than if you're a mile or two inland.

Be prepared for the worst, I bought a thick hoodie in Ibiza because the cardigans and denim jacket were not enough in the evening, but weather varies!

And wear jeans to go in, I wore them some evenings

I wore slightly more trousers than normal with a pretty top and cardigan or denim jacket. Also pack some cosy stuff for in your room.

I would expect quite a difference between the beginning and end of October.
