Anyone done lapland day trip to Enontekio

Hello
we have booked to do a lapland day trip in December. We leave UK about 6.30am and fly to Enontekio, then land back about 10pm i think. I just have some (probably silly) questions if anyone can help please:

  1. children are 10 and almost 4 when we travel. It says we get snowsuits and boots provided but at what point do you get these? Is it in the airport? I’m just wondering how to keep the kids warm once we get off the plane.
  2. can you leave anything on the plane? If the children have coats on i presume they won’t want coats on under the snowsuit so could we leave these somewhere?
  3. has anyone got any general tips or things to be aware of? I’ve seen people saying to buy waterproof gloves so the kids don’t get wet and cold with the snow if they are playing, and people saying put handwarmers inside the gloves, but just wondered if there is anything else people would suggest?

thank you, i think I’m overthinking it abit but just want to be prepared as my eldest has autism and youngest will be just under 4 when we go.
thank you!

I’ve been to northern Finland at a similar time of year and it was minus 30 outside the airport. You need to check with the company.
