Crete hotels

Looking for a nice 4/5 star hotel in Crete for October half term with indoor pool and plenty activities in case not swimming weather eg tennis etc and if possible near to tavernas. Flying to chania.
Not super expensive eg domes/ ikos
Pilot beach looks nice
Renovated iberostar creta marine - looks lovely but further from chania airport and remote.
both around £200-230 per night HB
any suggestions? Anyone been to either ?

We were mainly really impressed with Creta Marine and definitely would go again. It is a beautiful hotel. There is a land train to the nearest village.

Thank you for your reply. It does look beautiful. How was the food and the entertainment? Not sure if you went with kids, but if so did they enjoy it ? Going in 3rd week October so hoping everything is still open. Thank you

Food was really good for a buffet.

We didn’t really use the entertainment apart from the singers in the main bar who were great.

The main evening entertainment is in the next door hotel but we didn’t ever go. We were happy to sit in the bar drinking cocktails.

Thank you it does sound great - we are going in 4 weeks so off season. The price in summer is 3 times more .Looking forward to it . Just hoping the weather is ok !
