Hi all, teenage kids fancy Belgium next year. I'm driving over and wondered what you would recommend? Would be nice to see the sea, thought maybe a lodge at a center parcs but open to new ideas?

We did a week split between a beautiful apartment near the European Parliament in Brussels and did a motor museum, the Atomium, the Comic book museum and wandered about a fair bit. Then moved to Centre Oatcs de Haan on the coast. It’s not the biggest Centre Oarcs but my teens enjoyed the pool and bowling. We walked to the beach and got the tram to Ostende for a walk in the seafront. There’s a free foot ferry a couple of tram stops from Ostende that was nice to do. There was a bus from just outside Centre Parcs to Brugge. It was a really nice holiday. Plenty of waffles, chocolate, frites and beer.

I LOVE spa. You can go and watch a race at the grand prix circuit , they is a wonderful spa to visit that's above the trees. It's quite good centrally for touring too.
I also love brugge and
Gent

I will add some more info later (I live in Brussels) but first note that Brussels (and Ghent and Antwerp) have LEZ for which you need to register your car in adavance.

Thanks so much. I'm going to research more at the weekend, some really nice ideas. I'll also look at LEZ

Just coming on to say this. You only need to register it once.
