I'm going to be on maternity leave next summer hols and DH is going to save his leave so we can take the whole of August off. We will have a 7yo, 5yo and 8 month old baby and are thinking of going away somewhere for 4 weeks but no idea where to go other than I don't want to go somewhere blazingly hot so it seems southern Europe is out!

I think interail would be a nightmare with three small kids so most likely we will base ourselves somewhere and explore for one week, then move on (by car) to the next location.

we were thinking of maybe Scandinavia? Does anyone have any suggestions or tips? Or recommendations?

A few different Euro camp sites in France perhaps.

That's actually not a bad shout! We did eurocamp a couple of years ago and the kids loved it!!! Any suggestions for decent sites??

What about doing Sunparks in DeHann, Belgium and then Disney Paris.

Sorry no actual recommendations as my DC are grown up now but I remember they loved our Eurocamp holidays at your DC’s age. We went to Brittany, Dorgdogne and Bella Italia near Venice.
Germany is another option.
