Sitges...rain...7 month old. Whimper

Please help - it is raining here in Sitges, our 7 mo ds is screeching the place down and I want to go home! One day left, anyone been and can give us some ideas for today? Sanity/marriage depends on it

Jump on the train to Barcelona and go round the aquarium - nice and soothing and undercover! Lots of restaurants/shops in the same complex too.

Did it already! It has been awful weather since we got here and we are at the end of our collective tethers. Oh well, we could always start packing!

OOO I remember having 3 days in Sitges when I had a 10 day trip to Barcelona- that place opened my eyes I can tell you ! How about a trip to Girona? Beautiful place, and a big cathedral to hide from the rain in.

How about nipping up to Sant Sadurni and drowning your sorrows in a vat of cava? Though that might not suit the baby so much .

Shame about the weather - a friend of mine is staying nearby at the moment - in a tiny beach apartment with her ds, her mother, father, brother, SIL and their two children. I can just imagine how stir-crazy she must be by now .

the sun came out this afternoon, and ds got stuck into the sand for the first time. So disaster averted!
