Best beach resorts in Spain or Greece - taking toddlers and Grandparents

Hello,
Please can anyone recommend a beach resort in either Spain or Greece? Taking toddlers and grandparents. Have been browsing the net but am still feeling overwhelmed and lost. Any personal recommendations would be amazing! Wish list below!

• Next to a beach/beach cove that has calm and shallow waters with the little ones
• Not in a party area. Looking for a more chilled out/laid back vibe
• Not a pebble beach
• Near some decent local cafes/restaurants
• Travelling July/August time. Budget is around £1300pp
• B&B, half board or full board

Cala Blanca in Menorca would be perfect. We stayed in Globales Mediterrani. Lovely quiet resort (no partying), the beach is a cove, sandy beach, restaurants and some nice souvenir shops.

I was going to say Punta Prima in Menorca but I would think most of the beach resorts in Menorca would be suitable. Fuerteventura maybe a shout too and possibly cheaper.

I was also going to suggest this too.

I think I'd be more inclined to opt for Spain rather than Greece purely for the slightly shorter flight times if you're taking toddlers

Mojacar Playa is great for families and has a children's beach. Plenty of restaurants and supermarkets too.
Fly to Almería, Murcia, or even Alicante is an easy drive.
