Hi, booked some cheap flights to Valencia for 3 nights at the end of September for 2 adults.

Has anyone got any recommendations on areas/hotels to stay in and things to do please?

https://www.palomargroup.es/edificio-palomar/ We stayed in 2 of these apartments last year. There's an office where you can check in and they also will look after bags. Very central - 5 mins to the covered market and lots of shops and restaurants in the old town. We did a walking tour, the aquarium, hired eScooters to travel round the Turia gardens up to the City of arts and sciences. Got the bus to the beach one day and had paella at La Pepica. Across the road from there is a nice beach club with pool, where you can rent sunbeds for the day or just go for food or drink. We booked for cocktails and food at the Atenea Sky rooftop bar which was really lively in the evening. Really nice food at la Calita where they have a terrace under the trees.

Edificio Palomar es un palacio del siglo XIX que, a pesar de haber sido completamente reformado, conserva el estilo clásico noble y delicado de la época.

I've stayed at Venecia Plaza Centro. Great location and very reasonable. I think it was recommended on here. We had a room overlooking the square - no issues with noise from outside as there was good double glazing.
