We are going on a big family summer holiday next year and are looking for a resort in Europe that will be appropriate. There will be 14 of us aged 9-78 years including some young adults.

We'd ideally like:
all inclusive
a fairly small chilled resort - no pumping music next to the pool etc
on the beach and not too far/steep to walk down there
not too far from shops/amenities etc but happy to get public transport/ taxi if needed

We looked at Crystal Springs in Cyprus as this really fit the bill but it's already booked up for August.

Any recommendations would be grateful received thank you!

We did this at Paradisus Gran Canaria for a similar trip and it was perfect, lovely food and drinks, chilled resort activities suitable for all generations (my mum, husband and daughter all did water colour painting) and no fighting for sunbeds. Some entertainment but nothing extreme.
You can get Melia gold status through the Amex platinum card, it’s £650 for the year, but you get 3 20% off vouchers and you would only need one of those for the whole booking.

@Wherehas2023gone- I’m a big Amex fan but didn’t know about those vouchers - I can’t see them listed on the benefits page. Can you give any other info?

It took a bit of searching, but here is the bit about Melia gold status. One of the gold benefits is the 20% off vouchers, which are a genuine saving. https://www.americanexpress.com/en-gb/benefits/travel/hotels/the-platinum-card/melia-rewards/
I don’t have the card all the time, but if you have a big trip and use the lounge access it is definitely worth it. If you need a recommendation send me a message!

Atlantico Mare in Cyprus. Chilled resort with low key entertainment. Swim up rooms, great restaurants. Small
waterpark. Only music by the top pool is 4-6 and you can always use the other pool by the beach which is always super chilled.
