Any ideas aside from Marwell/Paultons Park/ Spinnaker Tower???

I am looking for something to entertain several 2-7 yr olds - something like Moors Valley would be good, but it's too far...

Don't want to have to shell out loads of dosh either . Does anyone have any local secrets they could reccomend?

Thanks

Thanks Norma. I think the boys would really enjoy it, but we are gong to have 4 girls with us who will groan at the transport stuff lol! I shall put it to them though

Hello Lister,

Is Liphook too far? We took my nieces (6 and 4) plus nephew (8) here last year and they all loved it. Weirdly it's another steam place, but this has great old-fashioned train ride where you trundle around behind a great puffing engine in little open-air carriages, plus Edwardian-style huge carousel with those painted horses that glide up and down as it turns. And lots of other rides too, and candyfloss (!) and animals etc etc. not at all museumy.

How about Staunton Park?

Farm park (not too big) with grounds, take a picnic. Also a cafe and play area.

We go often, it's not expensive really and you can feed the animals.

Or Manor Farm Country Park

Great fun & under 3s are free.
