Last minute mid week break, somewhere warm - any ideas ?

I suddenly have some spare time (and holiday hours) for a Monday to Friday break. Ideally I want sunny climes, happy with a fly and flop type break. But I’m on a budget and also don’t want to spend a lot of time travelling. Will use Stansted or Luton airport.
Anyone have any gems to share?

Try Skyscanner go anywhere for the dates you want.

Marrakech?? Or anywhere in Spain should be warm still at this time of year

Anywhere in the Med will still be warm or even hot at the moment.

Cefalu is a gorgeous fly and flop destination, still very warm at this time of year. If you want to keep costs down, you can take a train from Palermo (the nearest airport). It takes about an hour.

Start with Skyscanner to see what cheap flights are available from those airports, ideally flying out on Monday morning and coming back Friday afternoon/evening. Check that the weather is forecast to be good.

Look on booking.com or similar for a hotel/apartment for somewhere that's easy to get to from the airport. Malaga could be a good shout - weather likely to be good, train line goes from the airport as far as Fuengirola and there's likely to be lots of accommodation available and eating out etc decent value and you can self cater cheaply especially if you use a 'normal' supermarket like Mercadona/Eroski/Dia/Lidl rather than Spar type places.

Also see if there's any cheaper packages on jet2holidays from Stansted or Easyjet Holidays from Luton.
