Ds13 has had a weird interest in Lichtenstein for years. I have no idea why.
Has anyone ever been? I'm thinking of taking him for a few days in October. He'd be so excited. I don't know a single person who has ever had a holiday in Lichtenstein so I'm curious to hear if you've been.

I've been! It's absolutely tiny but quite pretty, in a classic, alpine kind of way.

There are some interesting museums in the capital, Vaduz. We also enjoyed the Princess of Liechtenstein winery tour.

You can rent e-bikes from the tourist information center in Vaduz. We did the 5 castles bike route which was very beautiful.

There's a chair lift in Malbun, which in itself is a pretty ski resort. From there, we hiked the Princess Gina trail to Augustenberg. The views were spectacular but I'm not sure how accessible the trail would be in October.

It's easy to get around, public transport is excellent, but there are no taxis. We flew to Zurich and took a train and then a bus to get to Vaduz.

Everything is expensive.

DP went for a business trip earlier this year. He was slightly dreading it but ended up finding the city very charming and quite enjoyed himself.
